We enjoyed a rare March snow here in Gwinnett County, Georgia this year, and I took the photo above from my front porch. The second one was taken in the first week of April. No matter how bleak things look for us, personally or financially, I'm reminded of the speech that Peggy Slappey gave at last year's Northeast Atlanta Metro Association of REALTORS celebration last spring. Peggy noted that she has been a developer and real estate broker in Gwinnett County for many decades, and has been through several financial winters. The one thing she came to believe is that winter is always followed by spring.
